I was really impressed with this model because it not only helps disadvantaged people have the opportunity to rise up but also creates real value for the business. Integrating the community into the production chain makes me feel that the business is operating more responsibly and sustainably. Listening to the stories from representatives of Fundación Proyecto Propio and Masisa made me realize that this is not just a theory but has been and is being applied very effectively.
